Our Mission

Conservation Technology Group (CTG) is a student-led organization (a subsidiary of Stanford Student Robotics Club) working to develop open-source hardware and software tools to accelerate environmental research and conservation efforts worldwide.

We collaborate with marine scientists, conservationists, and other engineers to apply new techniques in artificial intelligence and recent advancements in sensor technology to study endangered species and their habitat.

Our goal is to make cutting edge technologies low-cost and accessible for all, lowering the barriers to adoption of new AI tools, sensors, and robotic systems for environmental research.
